Dante D. King is the founder and principal of King of Kings Consulting. He is a nationally recognized organizational development consultant, change management strategist, expert legal witness, and MCLE provider. His career spans more than two decades across corporate banking, government, public health, medical institutions, and education.

He served as Deputy Director of the Office of Health Equity at the San Francisco Department of Public Health, leading equity strategy for an organization of 8,000 employees. He was Director of Race, Equity, and Inclusion at the SFMTA (6,000 employees), and the inaugural SFMTA Ombudsperson. As a senior HR Manager at the City and County of San Francisco, he designed and delivered citywide implicit bias training to 20,000+ employees, including the SFPD. He has delivered guest lectures at Stanford Medicine, Johns Hopkins, and UCSF, and is currently Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medical Education at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, where he co-directed an accredited 15.0-hour CME/CE course on anti-racism leadership in healthcare — the flagship course, part of 22.5 accredited hours at Mayo.

He served as expert witness in People v. Finley (2023), helping codify new California law under the Racial Justice Act.

He has received the NADOHE Higher Education Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership Award (2024) and the NAME Carter G. Woodson Service Award (2023).

He directs the Leadership Fellowship and authors the Diagnosis Series. He lives in Oakland.
