Healthcare & public health.

Three years embedded in an 8,000-employee public-health department — fellowship, coaching, policy, and a race-conscious mediation protocol.

Health systems carry workforce risk that a training day cannot touch. The cornerstone engagement here ran three years (2023–2026) inside San Francisco Department of Public Health Behavioral Health Services.

The practice served as Chief Racial Equity Consultant under a competitively awarded RFQ. 200+ leaders trained across four fellowship cohorts. Six policies developed and implemented. The engagement received the California Medical Association's Cultural and Linguistic Competency & Implicit Bias Innovation Award, Overall Program (2025).

The record.

Hospital-based academic work — Mayo Clinic, UCSF — is filed under Academic medicine.

The quality of services provided was exceptional and transformative. Their facilitation, coaching, and strategic guidance resulted in sustained shifts in leadership practice, increased organizational accountability, and the development of long-term equity infrastructure.
