K–12 education.
District-wide leadership work with superintendents, cabinets, and boards — from a two-day retreat to a partnership across two school years.
School districts need leadership work that reaches the superintendent's cabinet and the board, not just a staff assembly. Both engagements here worked at that level.
At Evanston Township High School District 202, a two-day retreat grew into a district-wide partnership spanning the 2023–24 and 2024–25 school years. It produced 360-degree feedback, monthly leadership coaching, and an antiracism recruitment and hiring policy. At Oakland Unified, the work reached the Superintendent, full cabinet, and school board, with a train-the-trainer model embedded for continuity.
The record.

“Dr. King's work moved the district in the likes of many notable speakers for a sustained two-day workshop. Dr. King has the exceptional ability to teach with intellectual rigor, develop relationships, and inspire his participants.”
